JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Sell software products and services
  • Set your own schedule and work from your home-office
  • Work part-time or full-time (we will work with your school schedule)
  • Prospect, engage, develop, and close your sales prospects
  • Respond to product inquiries
  • Occasional domestic travel to trade shows and conventions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Contact prospects to introduce software solutions and services
  • Identify decision makers and ask the right questions critical to your success
  • Schedule and conduct software demonstrations
  • Create estimates and price proposals
  • Ultimately close the sale
  • Manage existing customer relationships

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Self-motivated and goal driven
  • Persuasive, with the ability to build rapport over the phone
  • Capacity to plan, prioritize, organize, and follow-through on assignments
  • Ability to work under nominal supervision

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of software processes and terminology
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Base salary + commission
  • Commensurate with education and experience
